Hello there!

I’m from Adelaide, South Australia and have been writing poems for as long as I can remember, but only really embraced my poetic passion when I started my Facebook page, Kimspiration in 2015.

​

I write about almost anything and everything and sometimes also take topic suggestions for a bit of fun and interaction...but wherever the idea for a poem or post comes from, it’s always put together from a mixture of ingredients: observation, experience, empathy and imagination.

Some pieces can be quite deep and intense, and some can be light and fluffy, all of which are open to interpretation by the individual reader.

My writing is typically always in the form of rhyme with random other pieces as they come to mind. Sometimes the words are just 'there' and need to be written. So I go with the flow of inspiration...hence, "Kimspiration"

I am often complimented on my ability to capture the thoughts and feelings of everyday circumstances and situations, allowing people to feel accepted, understood and validated.

Starting a web page was an additional step in the journey of sharing my words with the world.

One day I may very well publish a book, though to date I do have a couple of poems published in two separate anthology series.
